Who Is Dr. Thomas Gladnick?
Dr. Gladnick is certainly no stranger to dentistry. His dad and grandfather, as well as several family members, are dentists, and his brother owns a company that designs and manages dental websites. Dr. Tommy grew up visiting his dad’s office, and because his dad enjoyed working with patients and helping them with their oral health, it seemed like a natural fit for him to pursue dentistry.
Dr. Tommy is originally from Newark, Delaware, where he graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Biology. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in 2012 before spending four years practicing dentistry at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.
As an Air Force Captain, Dr. Gladnick considered it an honor to provide dental care to airmen from all over the United States and pilots-in-training from all over the world.
In 2016, Dr. Tommy moved to Maryland to begin his dental practice in Montgomery County. He and his wife, Dr. Liz, live only six miles from their dental practice to be readily available to their patients during an emergency.
Dr. Tommy’s Dental Philosophy
Dr. Gladnick understands the importance of providing high-quality dental care to his patients, and he does this by staying abreast of the latest research and advances in dentistry. Because science and technology are constantly changing, he finds his connection to professional organizations the best way to learn.
Dr. Tommy is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Dental Association, among others, and finds their cutting-edge journals and continuing education opportunities the best way to stay up-to-date with the latest dental approaches, materials, and techniques.
A Funny Fact about Dr. Tommy
Although much of his time is spent working and spending time with his wife and children, Dr. Gladnick admits he would like to own an exotic pet. He thinks having a parrot, a monkey, a fox, or a pig would be fun, and he’d even like to train it to use the bathroom outside!
